So much of the experience of seeing a band perform live can depend on the venue. While we're convinced that The Lone Bellow could pull off a knock out performance anywhere, we have been really lucky to see them in some fabulous spots. One of our favorite venues, which we discovered over the summer, was the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This theater is small and intimate, and really allows for the band to interact with the audience. We had so much fun at this show. The crowd was really alive, prompting Zach to say he felt like we were at a town meeting, and also expressing his surprise that we were getting up on our feet in that little space. (For the record, we will always be on our feet at some point during a Lone Bellow show!) Fortunately, someone captured on video one of the best moments that night: a surprise from Brian.

I'm so glad someone got a video of that! It was such a fun, intimate show!

Who We Are
We are Abra and Bobbie, two friends living in Boston who go to a lot of concerts together. We saw The Lone Bellow, having never heard of them, and could not believe our good fortune in discovering such talent. We now try to go by the "Four-Hour-Rule", meaning if we can get to a show within four hours, we will be there, hopefully right up front. Categories
