Cover songs. Does anything divide music lovers more than the argument over whether bands should do cover songs? Well, we unabashedly land among the camp of "yes they should!" We love them. For us, it's always really interesting and fun to hear what our favorite musicians can do to songs that we already know. Fortunately, The Lone Bellow does not disappoint when it comes to recreating other artists' music. Whether giving us their rendition of "Islands in the Stream", or spontaneously breaking out into 90's R&B songs, you can rest assured that these guys have paying homage down to an art. And really, is there anything lovelier than Kanene Pipkin's voice when she sings "Slip Slidin' Away"?
