We loved this interview with The Lone Bellow on CBS This Morning. It was great seeing Zach's family - those girls are beyond adorable - and that cute photo of Kanene and Jason in China. My favorite quote from Brian - "I want to grow up to be that old guy in the diner."
First, congratulations to The Lone Bellow on the official release day of Then Came The Morning! We can't stop listening to it!
Second, did you catch them on Letterman last night? It was a classic performance, full of passion and soul, and Zach's foot-stomping energy. We can not wait to see them live next month! We wonder if they will bring all those fabulous string and horn musicians with them? And it will be amazing to see Kanene playing bass guitar and keyboards! If you didn't catch the show last night, here is the video of the band performing "Then Came the Morning" on Letterman - Don't forget to catch The Lone Bellow on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight at 11:35pm ET! Let us know what you think!
The Lone Bellow have a couple of TV appearances coming up in the next month. First, they will be on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, January 26, at 11:35pm ET. Then on Saturday, February 14, they will appear on CBS This Morning Saturday. The show airs at 7am ET.
We'll remind you, and will post videos as available!
It was great to see The Lone Bellow on Jimmy Kimmel last night! They performed "Cold As It Is" for the broadcast. Kanene was on keyboard, and the band had a trombone and trumpet to accompany them. And it looks like the lucky crowd got to see them perform "Heaven Don't Call Me Home" post-broadcast! These videos are really getting us excited about seeing them live in February!
Tonight! The show starts at 11:35pm ET! They'll be playing their new song, "Cold As It Is!"
Happy new year! This one is sure to be off to a good start, with The Lone Bellow's new album, Then Came the Morning, dropping on January 27, and then the band touring in February and March. We already have tickets for three of the shows, and are considering a fourth if we can figure out the logistics. To say we are excited is an understatement!
In the meantime, we just got word that the band will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live this Wednesday, January 7. Be sure to check them out! And we will post the video here as soon as it's available. |
Who We Are
We are Abra and Bobbie, two friends living in Boston who go to a lot of concerts together. We saw The Lone Bellow, having never heard of them, and could not believe our good fortune in discovering such talent. We now try to go by the "Four-Hour-Rule", meaning if we can get to a show within four hours, we will be there, hopefully right up front. Categories
